Singing with the Animals

Making animal sounds are a great way to practice speech sounds. Mixing music and animals can be a great way to engage children and have fun!
Great ideas for using songs and YouTube videos:
Remember-don't just put the iPad or phone in front of your child and have him/her listen all alone. This is not as fun!
Sit with your child and sing the songs together
Pause the music to give your child a chance to sing along.
Create a play list and let your child select the song.
Sing the songs in the car, while on a walk, or any time
Listen to songs repeatedly. Like reading books, the more a child hears something, the more they learn
