Lakeview Talking School is a blog designed to help parents and caregivers better understand speech and language development.

I worked in school-based settings for over 20 years. One of my favorite students affectionately referred to my classroom as “Talking School,” a phrase he used to explain to others the work we did together. That meaningful moment inspired the name of this blog.

​

I am deeply passionate about speech and language development. My mission is to equip caregivers with practical strategies and high-quality resources to support their child’s communication skills. Areas of focus include speech sound development, social (pragmatic) language, vocabulary, grammar, storytelling, and more.

​
